Srinagar, April, 12 (KNO) : On the directions of SSP Handwara Shri Ghulam Jeelani Wani, a Police Community Partnership Group meeting was held at Police Post Langate, Handwara, which was chaired by In-charge Police Post Langate Shri Jan Mohammad.
The meeting was attended by the PCPG members of all the villages falling in the jurisdiction of PP Langate and youth of nearby areas. During the meeting, many social issues were raised by youth which includes sports activities, debate competition, land for play ground, etc. Besides, issues including drug menace, gambling, eve teasing were discussed in the meeting.
The participants also shared their problems related to electricity, drinking water, transport facility from Langate to Puhroo Chakla. The chairing officer assured the participants that issues related to Police will be sorted out shortly and other issues will be taken up with concerned authorities for immediate redressal. At the end of the meeting, the chairing officer thanked the participants for spending their precious time to participate in the meeting.
